When I started This Dad Writes, I just thought I would be using it to publish books and making a little side money. After writing a book and then feeling inspired enough to publish it, I knew I needed a tag line or an identity that people would remember. But what is it supposed to be? What do I want it to be? That is the question I find myself trying to answer now. I do know it has become about more than publishing books. I want it to be a platform that I build with my kids. The best part about This Dad Writes is how it has pushed the children and I to spend more time together. They have a lot of ideas and so much energy. They love reading stories about themselves and learning how to use the computer to design different products.
